Platoon Productions LLC is a drone media and mapping company founded in 2024 by Justin Wenzel, with Bryce Hanna joining shortly after. Both originally from the Sandhills of Nebraska, we turned a lifelong passion for drones into a full-scale operation. We started in the golf industry and quickly expanded into multiple sectors. The name Platoon comes from our original friend group growing up, a nod to where it all began and the teamwork that still drives us today.

What started with golf course filming has evolved into a diverse range of services used by golf clubs, construction companies, real estate professionals, and landowners across the region. We specialize in aerial media, 2D and 3D mapping, thermal imaging, agricultural spraying, stockpile estimation, 360° property tours, and photogrammetry. Beyond drone work, we build websites, manage digital marketing campaigns, and operate custom online print shops featuring our high-quality aerial photography.

As full-time college students, we do everything ourselves—from flying to editing—and we’re always looking for new ways to innovate. At Platoon Productions, we’re not just capturing footage. We’re providing powerful tools and visuals that help our clients see, share, and manage their world like never before.
